This is the tutorial for using ezcodes to insert graphics into your messages. I also have available an html graphic tutorial which will allow you to align your images and also a signature tutorial which will show you how to add graphics to your signature.

On this page, you will learn how to add graphics to the messages. Before you can add a graphic, the graphic must have it's own url (address) on the internet. You will not be able to link a graphic from your hard drive.

For more information on how to do this, click here!

Now, to show you how to add an image using ezcodes!

Here is an example of how to use the EzCode for inserting graphics:

[image]www.mywebspace.com/graphics/image.gif[/image]

You may also use a shorter version:

[img]www.mywebspace.com/graphics/image.gif[/img]

Make sure you have both the opening [img] tag and the closing [/img] tag or it will not work.

With Ezboard, you can use your enter key to position your graphic below or above your text.

You can also center your graphics using ezcodes. You would put [center] in the front of the graphic code and [/center] at the end.

Here is an example:

[center][image]mywebspace/graphics/image.gif[/image][/center]

There is one very important thing that you must do, however, to get the image to center properly. You must make sure that the box to convert urls in unchecked before submitting your message. This is some kind of ezcode glitch and if you don't uncheck that box, your graphic won't align properly.

This is pretty much the basics of adding graphics. Ezboard also has a tutorial explaining all of the ezcodes available. You can click here to see it. You can also get to this page from the Main Tutorial Page or by clicking on the EzCodes link that is located near the bottom of the page when you add or reply to a topic.

This may all seem confusing right now, but just practice a little and I think you will get the hang of it. For practice purposes, I've added a practice board which you can get to by either the main page of the board or by clicking on the drop down menu at the bottom of the message board.
